![]() The idea for a "last 10kg to go" challenge was floated in one of the diary threads, so I am going to try to set one up! I would like to cordially invite anyone who has approximately 10kg to go to get to goal/refeed weight, and even perhaps those who want a bit of support and encouragement for their next 10kg to go (even if you have more than 10 to go). I think we should gather our numbers, and decide on a weigh in day (unless we think it will work with individual weigh days), and each week we report our:
We can post regularly in here, or just weekly on the agreed weigh day (if that is what people want to do), and it will be a place to share in our successes and perhaps not so successful losses and count on down to the exciting voyage into refeed! I am usually a Monday weigher, but this week I am away so I will weigh in on Sunday....if that starts the "weigh day" debate. P.S. My ticker is set to the top of my goal range, but first time around I hit the bottom of my goal range (52) before starting refeed - so I still have up to 10.2kg to go. So we should have a few members - we will probably be too late for Relles who is knock knock knocking on refeeds' door! So please, invite all those at the "10kg to go weight"...and we will welcome any others who are keen for a bit of camaraderie along the way. Hope that all makes sense, and please feel free to add your suggestions! |

I either have 12.8 to go or around 15 (sad face!). I will go with 13 for the benefit of the challenge ![]() Start weight: 78.8 kilos (as of this morning) loss: last weeks 1.3 kilos (but I guess that's only important from now on) goal: 13 kilos, left to go 13 kilos

I did a sneaky mid week weigh today, so I can weigh on Wednesday for this challenge.
Start weight - 79.3kg Goal - 70kg then will reassess

is there a due date for this to be completed ?
I have 10-12 to go BUTTTT i dont think i should start in this challenge until back from holiday as i am going off plan for 2 weeks while in south africa with family. Back on 20 september and hitting it hard to get to refeed by December

Nahhh, at this stage I am not envisaging an end date - I will probably take 10 weeks to get to refeed, it might just be an ever evolving (until interest dries up) thread as people move onto refeed, and new people hit the 10kg to time of their journey.
That is just my opinion though! |

I would like to join. I could do with the motivation and support.
Weight as of this morning is 64.5 I have around 10kg to go to get to 55 my top goal weight. Though I'd like to order refeed as soon as I can as I think it will be getting close to the end of my extension of the contract. |

Awesome - Caz you are most welcome to cheer us on, or join us for a 10kg loss.
S_lilstar - welcome! If you can get your refeed in your hot little hands before the end of your contract, you can hold off to start if you want to get a little lower (I am sure you know this). How long do you have left till your contract runs out? Also, I am going to balls everything up, as I have just realised that I won't be able to weigh until next Thursday. I did weigh in this morning, but I felt like it was too good to be true - I might sorta skip this week, and start on into it in anger Monday week from now.....or something - I will sort things out. |

Yay, and welcom Julie_D! 8.1kg to go woohooo! I think this is going to be great - I am so excited about watching people reach their goals/refeed - great stuff.
And what a beautiful day it is here in Christchurch - almost feels like summer! Feels like Christmas holiday time! And TGI Friday tomorrow! |

Thanks for inviting me to join in the 10kg race Mcbell but I am in a few other challenges that will keep me on the straight and narrow so am happy to keep this as a focus on you all who are so close to finishing! |

Ok, ok...I'm in!
Nice one McBell! Weight on Tuesday was 66.8kg...I might sneaky weigh tomorrow, but if not I'll be weighing again next Tuesday. Weight to lose...10.8kg. that would take me to 56kg, which is the bottom end of my goal range, so my body might not want to get that far....58.3kg is the lowest I got in last refeed, so we'll see!

Good work Bee! I am in a similar boat - lowest goal is 52, but anything can happen heading down to refeed, so I might not quite get there. Rightio - my usual weigh in day is Monday, but as I will be away and not back to my scales till Thursday, I decided to weigh in today, so for this challenge my regular weigh in day will be Friday. Ok, ok, here's the truth...I have been gently exercising at the gym this week (again, I know, after giving it up for slowing my losses, but I am staying away from the heavy weights at the moment), so I decided to do some extra weigh ins to stop me freaking out. Wed was the same as Monday, Thurs was 61.4 and today was 61.0 - so I decided that was about as good as it was likely to get this week! So: Friday 23rd August Current Weight: 61.0 Loss for previous 5 days: 1.2kg (aww yeeeah) Left to goal (52): 9.0kg Happy Friday and Happy Weight release everyone! |

Not happy...only 200g loss for week 3...
Takes me to 4.2kg loss and puts my weight at 66.6kg Hoping that I'm in reshape and the measurement numbers will be super amazing.

Weigh in day for me today.
Last weeks weight: 64.9 This weeks weight: 63.2 So a loss of 1.7 ![]() My top weight range is 55 I'm hoping to order refeed as soon as possible. Is it 2kg above your highest, that's what I have heard. So that means I've got 6kg to go - 67kg. Then I'll have it and keep going until my body is ready to start. |

Yep S_lilstar - you can order refeed 2kg above your highest goal weight as it may take up to 2 weeks for you to receive it (I was lucky, mine only took 3 days) so that means that if it does take that long to arrive, you should be in your goal weight zone, but not too light and hanging out for it to start (hope that makes sense).
Sounds like our goal ranges are fairly similar - mine is 52-55kg, and I started refeed at 52kg first time around - will wait and see how I feel this time..... |
